The MTA system needs to be properly funded to provide reliable service and protect rider and transit worker safety. Countless residents, including hospital workers, grocery clerks, childcare workers, students and other employees need reliable public transit to get to work and other essential destinations everyday. In a public health crisis, global climate crisis, and economic recession, we need to fully fund transit.
